Hostel of Hospitality Mission Shelter Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed from 7:00 to 9:00pm one night per week to orient guests at the shelter, help with case management, interact with guests, and perform intake assessments on new guests. Please call 970-484-5010 for more information.
Emergency Services Program Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00pm one day per week to assist with Emergency Services Program. Volunteer will assess needs of person seeking assistance, allocate necessary funds, food, etc., and give referrals that provide additional services. Follow-up case work as needed. Volunteers are needed for our Senior Outreach program. The hours are flexible depending on your schedule and the seniors schedule. Volunteers provide companionship to a senior by visiting them at their home or taking them to doctor appointments, for lunch, on errands, etc. Volunteers are also needed to deliver food boxes (Commodities) once a month. Administrative Assistance:
Volunteers needed on an on-call basis during business hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm: Assist at front desk, help with large mailings and data entry. Please call 970-484-5010 for more information.
Hostel of Hospitality Mission Shelter Kitchen Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed 5:30 to 7:30pm one night per month as needed to assist with cooking, preparing meals, and serving guests. Kitchen clean up is done by shelter guests. Substitute cooks are needed to prepare meals when the shelter cook has the day off. Please call 970-484-5010 for more information.
Northern Colorado Social Legislative Network Volunteers:
Volunteers needed Monday - Friday. You can work from home or in our office. Volunteers will assist with administrative support/computer work, letter writing/phone calls, grassroots lobbying, public policy research, and tracking legislation. Please call 970-484-5010 for more information.
Certified Car Seat Technician:
Technician needed to assist parents with proper installation of new car seats. Approximately once a month at the Catholic Charities Greeley office. Contact Brittany or Verna at 970-353-6433.
Teacher's Aid:Teacher's aid needed to lead parenting classes, beginning July 7, 2010 - September 11, 2010 at the Catholic Charities Greeley office. Role is assist the teacher and lead parenting class (share life experience situations, grade papers, etc.). Material is provided. Contact Joan Bertram or Verna Recor at 970-353-6433.
Child Care Provider:
Childcare provider needed to care for children of Grandparenting Group / Kinship Group / Parenting Classes at the Catholic Charities Greeley office, beginning July 7, 2010. Contact Joan Bertram or Verna Recor at 970-353-6433.
Senior Outreach:
Volunteers needed to provide pedicures for low income seniors in Ft. Lupton. Begin at your convenience. Contact Maria at 303-857-2844.
