Home Based Services is a program that adapts a comprehensive mental health model to the needs of our clients. The program operates from a strengths-based philosophy, and it uses a systemic method for building on families’ strengths to bring about positive change. The counselors in the program provide intensive home-based services and outpatient therapy. Psychiatric services are also available through appointments with our staff psychiatrist. Families, couples, and individuals can seek our services.

In addition, Home Based Services provides crisis intervention, skills training in such areas as conflict resolution, anger management, household management, parenting, communication, and the physical, emotional, and psychological development of their children. We also provide our clients with “wraparound services” which include referrals to other agencies, the coordination of additional services, case management, and advocating for clients in the community. Referrals to our programs can be made through the Denver Department of Human Services, Medicaid, or by the client self referring. Our services are also accessible to Spanish speaking individuals, because we have several bilingual counselors on staff. Our services can also be provided on a sliding scale basis.
