Hospitality Kitchen: Located The Mission in Fort Collins, the Hospitality Kitchen welcomes anyone in the community who is hungry to share a hot noon meal on weekends at no cost.

Emergency Assistance in Larimer and Weld Counties: The emergency assistance centers offer emergency food, personal care items, bus tokens, and assistance in paying utility bills, and costs of medical prescriptions and transportation.

Case Management Services: Catholic Charities believes that the best way to solve the problem of homelessness is to prevent homelessness. We help over 50 families each year who are risk of becoming homeless in overcoming problems and current residents of the Guadalupe Shelter.

CCN works with former and current residents of Guadalupe Shelter in Greeley and the Hostel of Hospitality in Ft. Collins to help them break out of homelessness.

Case Managers assist families in finding resources and services in two communities, including housing, employment, education, and medical, dental and mental health care. Families are counseled for up to 18 months after they leave the shelter to enable them to become self sufficient.

Migrant Farm-worker and Family Housing: Plaza del Milagro is a year round housing complex for seasonal, agricultural and migrant families. Plaza del Sol is a seasonal farm worker housing complex for single adult workers.

Senior Services: Case management is provided in Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland for seniors who need assistance in maintaining independent living, or families of such seniors.

CCN staffs support groups for the elderly and provides Friendly Visitors, offering weekly visits to homebound isolated seniors in Weld and Larimer Counties.

The Hispanic and Rural Senior Outreach: Assists Hispanics and isolated seniors throughout Weld County to connect with community resources, overcome language barriers, obtain services, make and keep appointments and fill out forms.

Caregivers’ Support Services: Respite Care for Caregivers in Loveland and Fort Collins is available for two to four hours a week through volunteers in the Caring Hearts program. Respite volunteers are trained to work with homebound persons and their caregivers.

Food Programs: SHARE Colorado is a food network that uses bulk purchasing power to provide a 50% below retail cost 30 lb. food package, including frozen meats, fresh fruits and vegetables and staples, for $14 and two hours of volunteer service of the participant’s choice. The program is open to anyone who wishes to participate. If you eat, you qualify! Registration and food distribution is through over 300 neighborhood host sites including over two dozen in Weld and Larimer Counties.

Each year, Catholic Charities provides Christmas food packages to 3500 families in need. Recipients are given a voucher for a SHARE Colorado food package and pick up their food at designated locations in the Denver metro area, Fort Collins and Greeley.

Supporting Refugees and Immigrants: Catholic Charities Northern strives to improve the quality of life of immigrant and refugee families in Weld County. English as a Second Language classes provide practical language skills for better communication in the home, workplace, and community.

Supporting Safe and Stable Families:
Family Advocates partner with families in crisis whose children have been placed out of the home or are at risk of removal. The goal is to help families overcome problems and increase stability. Services include case management, advocacy, home visits and kinship care support groups.
